What gets scanned
When you connect an inbox, Majir scans your recent promotional emails. The first scan covers a recent window, roughly the last several days. After that, Majir keeps scanning on a schedule so new offers show up on their own.
We only look for shopping-related promotional messages, filtered by shopping keywords. Personal conversations are not what we are after. Majir reads the text of an offer email and also reads the text inside offer images automatically, using OCR. OCR means software converts a picture of text into readable text.
How an offer becomes a money move
Once an offer is found, Majir pulls out the details that matter: the brand, the value, the expiry date, and the coupon code if there is one. Those details become a money move in your wallet. Each one shows what it is worth and when it runs out, so nothing sits forgotten in your inbox until it is too late.
Why a new connection takes a little while
Right after you connect, Majir needs time to scan, read images, and organize what it finds. Your wallet may look thin for a short period, then fill in as the first scan finishes. This is normal. Give it a little time and check back.
What Majir never does with your email
Majir requests read-only access to your mail. That means Majir can read messages to find offers, and nothing else.
Majir never sends email, never deletes email, and never moves email. We look for rewards. We do not touch your inbox.
