How much can Majir help you save?
Most people who connect their inbox find unused rewards they forgot they had. The value comes from rewards, loyalty points, coupons, and cashback you already signed up for. It sits in your promotional email, mostly forgotten, and it expires quietly.
An average is not a promise. Some inboxes hold more, some less. But if you delete promotional email without reading it, Majir will likely find more for you, not less. Majir does not create value. It surfaces value that already belongs to you. Every dollar counted is a reward you earned and would otherwise lose.
How does Majir work?
The setup is one step. You connect your Gmail or Outlook inbox with read-only OAuth 2.0 access. OAuth means you log in on Google's or Microsoft's page, not inside Majir. Read-only means Majir can see the promotional email it scans and nothing more. It cannot send mail, delete mail, or read your private correspondence.
Every money move shows up in your wallet with its value and its expiry date. When it is still usable, it is marked Saved. When it is close to expiring, it flips to Still available, which means Use it before it is gone. We call these money moves, not offers or deals, because the point is action. Majir supports multiple accounts, so your personal inbox and your work inbox can both be checked.
Is it safe to connect your email inbox to Majir?
Majir connects with read-only OAuth 2.0 access. We never store your password, because OAuth never gives us one. Access is protected with 256-bit encryption, and the whole thing is revocable anytime. What can Majir not do?
Majir does not negotiate prices. No part of Majir contacts a company on your behalf. Majir does not cancel subscriptions yet; it can show you what you have, but you still do the cancelling, and cancellation is on our roadmap. Majir cannot find value that was never sent to you. And Majir does not stop you from spending. It helps you Use value you already own. Anyone selling you an app that fixes your spending is overselling you.
